| I began dancing when I was 11 years old and my studio dance began 3 years later. I was on the Dance Company at my high school 4 years and held the position as Captain my Senior year. |

I love being on the Maryland Dance Team because: |
| I am part of a unique and talented group of girls who love to dance and perform for the Terps. Performing in front of thousands of people is extraordinary and breathtaking. The University of Maryland is a school with the most school spirit and I love being a large part of that school spirit. And of course, the girls on the team are what make me love being on the Maryland Dance Team the most. They are all amazing people and they have welcomed me and helped me adjust as a new member on the team. |
| Favorite Moment on the Team: |
| The first football game of the year was definitely my favorite moment on the team. Trucking through the parking lot and performing in Byrd Stadium for the first time in my life was so exhilarating and exciting! |
