The University of Maryland Dance Team maintains a standard of excellence, professionalism and school pride through our performances.
Remember the first time you lost your voice at a Maryland v. Duke game or cheered the Terps on to victory at Byrd Stadium? The sense of pride and that feeling of passion for Terrapin
Athletics you brought to each game? The Maryland Dance Team is an extension of this spirit and helps to express your feelings of pride to all the fans. Because we are ambassadors for you,
we are asking that you consider a contribution in support of furthering our mission.
We receive minimal funding from the University, and your gift would enable us to offset costs such as uniforms, performance materials and camp. As an example, the cost to outfit one Dance
Team member for both the football and basketball season is approximately $700.
A gift from you could help bring us closer to our goal of delivering ever more spectacular productions at football games and throughout the basketball season.
We hope to see you at many of our Terp athletic events throughout this year and we thank you for your thoughtful consideration of this request.
